Random Thoughts on the Day After...

The Day After Thanksgiving leaves many of us feeling lazy... and useless... and like food consuming, space wasters; I'm sorry that you guys feel that way... because your boy feels great.

Thankfully, I am not blessed with an amount of money that would allow me to think that because that thing that I want is on sale, that it would be o.k. for me to go and buy it because it's Black Friday... or as my friends and I have decided to refer to this 'holiday', Don Cheadle Friday*.

This day has never made sense to me... people decide to go run around shopping, after having eaten the most food they have ever eaten in their entire lives?!?! Or maybe, it's just me that eats the most food that I've ever eaten in my entire life, every Thanksgiving. That's cool for all you people watching your figure or some shit but I threw down yesterday and though I may be spending more time than normal in the restroom, gee golly it's worth it!

Everybody thinks that their mama makes the best Thanksgiving feast possible. I'll call all of y'all bluffs because MY MOTHER THROWS DOOOOOOWN. Your mother can be second best but nothing can make me happier than my mother's food. The best thing ever happened a few weeks ago too; my mother decided to learn how to make ribs. YEAH, RIGHT?! And she made them alongside the turkey for Thanksgiving. As I sat at the table at our immensely small family dinner, I began to slowly sob.** My mother asked "What are you doing?!". I looked up and mumbled "I'm just so happy. I love food and I love you."

And I haven't done this yet but two great pieces of Hip Hop history were released this past week so make sure to cop Kanye West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" and Lloyd Bank

There are simply no words for the greatness that is achieved here in less than a week by these Chinese workers. None.
